There are parts of your story that remind me of my own. The decision was made some time around 11:30 PM that Noelle would need to be born via c-section. She was born at 11:57 PM. I remember Chris being rushed into scrubs while he was trying to find the case for my contact lenses, which I had not yet taken out. A nurse came to the rescue. :o) I also remember struggling to keep my eyes open when they brought Noelle to see me after my c-section. I was fighting hard to see my girl! :o)

Noelle was 2 days late and weighed 9 lbs, 3 oz...I can't even imagine how big she would have been if she had been 2 weeks and 4 days late like Pete! Wow! You are such a trooper! :o)

So, how did you decide on the name Pete Hollis? Are there special people in your lives that he is named after? Sweet boy...so blessed to have you as his parents!

Thanks for the update. I love hearing about all the details. I bet you are sore at your incision site. Pete was HuGe, good thing they took him by c-section, I don't know how on earth you could push a 2 month old out !! When Bella was in her first weeks at home a friend of mine said "Your in the weeds now, but it will get better". That is true. Wish I lived closer to bring you a hot casserole.
Love, Paula

Congrats, Mom!
Your guess of Dec 31st was the closest.
Pete was born on Jan 1, 2009 at 12:17am.
Now we just need to find a freight shipping company to send you your fabulous prize!

The Cloth Diaper count has been climbing slowly and I think we now have 10.
We put the first one on Pete today (um... yesterday, technically) at about 5pm. It's 1am now and he's on his 4th. :-/

Nope. I didn't pass out. Though I WAS a little woozy a few times. I recall at one point making the decision to stop peeking over the top of the blue sheet in the pic above.
